    * The Deer Isle granite bird baths are brand new for us and we're very happy to be working the stone! This World famous stone is locally quarried, just Downeast from us, on the beautiful Maine Coastline. It's a handsome grey stone with lavender and cream mottling.   It's been used in architecture and monuments all around our Country for more than one hundred and fifty years.

    Fits perfectly

    I turned an old plant stand into a bird bath but I needed something besides glass that I’ve been using because it shatters when the weather turns cold. I stumbled upon Dances with Stone on Facebook and after a few conversations with the owners about my needs, I sent measurements and a few images of what they thought would fit in the plant stand and they sent me a few links of gorgeous granite bird baths they thought would fit perfectly. I purchased one and it did in fact fit perfectly and looks absolutely beautiful in my garden. The birds love it too. It is a gorgeous garden conversation piece that will be around for years to come.
